Adoras connects generations through shared memories. Choose your role, set up your profile, and start preserving stories.

Quick Setup

1. Sign up with email/password, Google OAuth, or magic link (for invited Storytellers)
2. Choose Keeper (younger) or Teller (older)
3. Verify your email address
4. Add name, photo, birthday, and bio
5. Enable notifications
6. Invite family via SMS magic link, email, or invite code

Login Options

• Email & Password: Traditional login for all users
• Google OAuth: Quick sign-in with your Google account
• Magic Link (Storytellers): Passwordless login via SMS/email when invited by a Keeper

Keepers (Younger)

• Daily topic headers
• Edit memory metadata
• Export & delete memories
• Manage connections

Tellers (Older)

• Detailed prompts every 2 days
• Share photos, voice, text
• View shared library

Invite New Storytellers (Magic Link)

1. Settings → Invite Storyteller
2. Enter their name, phone number, and your relationship
3. They'll receive an SMS/email with a secure magic link
4. They click the link to create their account (passwordless)
5. Connection is automatically established

Connect with Existing Users

1. Settings → Invite Storyteller → "Existing User" tab
2. Enter their email address
3. They receive a connection request to approve

Invite Code / QR

1. Settings → Your Invite Code
2. Share code or QR
3. They enter it; you approve

Types

• Photo: + → Photo → caption → send
• Voice: + → Voice → record ≤5 min → auto-transcribes & translates
• Video: + → Video ≤10 min → description
• Text: type → send

Keepers can edit

Long-press any memory → edit date, location, tags, notes.

Keepers

• Daily topic header at 8 am (timezone-aware)
• Use it to start conversations

Tellers

• Detailed prompt every 2 days at 8 am
• Example: "What traditions did you celebrate?"

Prompts Tab

Light-bulb icon → read today's prompt → answer or generate new ones.

Views

• Calendar, Grid, List

Export (Keepers)

1. Settings → Storage & Data
2. Select connection
3. Export → download JSON + media links

1. + → Voice → hold to record ≤5 min
2. Auto-detects language → transcribes → translates to English
3. Both versions shown; toggle between them

Storage Limits

Free accounts include 2 GB of storage. You can upgrade to premium for unlimited storage and additional features.

Manage Storage

• Storage Usage: See how much space you're using
• Media Quality: Choose upload quality (Original, High, Standard)
• Download on WiFi Only: Save mobile data
• Cache Management: Clear cached media files

Profile

• Name, birthday, relationship, bio, photo, language (6 supported languages)

Security & Login

• Email & Password: Change password anytime in settings
• OAuth Users (Google): Password optional; can set one for backup login
• Magic Link Users (Storytellers): Passwordless login; can set password for traditional login access
• Linked Accounts: Connect Google for easier sign-in
• Two-Factor Authentication: Coming soon

Privacy Settings

• Private Profile: Control visibility to other users
• Location Sharing: Choose whether to share location data in memories

Data Management

• Export memories (JSON + media links)
• Delete connection data (removes shared memories with specific person)
• Delete account (permanent, removes all data)
